The truth about Connie Powers and Kenny Wells and Powers Business Machines, Inc. FRAUDS & SCAMMER!!!
Do not trust these two men or his company! Connie Powers- Owner and Kenny Wells –General sales Mgr is a fraud and Powers Business Machine, Inc. is a scam. And I have talked to many others that he has defrauded as well (both consumers and other businesses). You have been forewarned.
The specifics:
We entered into a contract with Powers Business Machines, Inc. on 9/24/2011 for a used copier. This copier was to have a collater/stapler/sorter attached. We were talked into adding $4,410 to the lease so that we could immediately pay off our current copier lease. Also included was a pre-paid service contract for 4 years of service and 240,000 copies a year.
We were coerced into signing the lease payment form before we actually received the merchandise (Big Mistake!). Several months passed and we still did not have our copier. Connie Powers and Kenny Wells made up stories about why it was delayed.
Finally, in April 2012 we recieved a copier…with out the collater/sorter/stapler. Meanwhile, we have been paying double payments: one to our current lease (the check for $4,410 from PBM never arrived) and one on the new copier which we got 6 months late.
Even after an in-person meeting with Connie Powers and Kenny Wells in Jan 2012, we still have not received any of our $4,410 lease payoff, do not have the collater/sorter/stapler attachment, and have a null-and-void service contract because Mr. Mosher forged the signature of service company on the service contract.
The date is now May 31, 2012 (a full year after our contract was signed). Connie Powers and Kenny Wells has disappeared, does not return calls, or respond in any way. Please consider my story before engaging in business with this company.
