Dog Food Revenge

Sometimes when you get revenge against a lover, it needs to be a little bit underhanded.  The following story is actually sad in that it starts with a cycle of abuse—a woman had been dealing with physical and mental abuse from her husband for a number of years.  Finally, she decided that enough was enough and it was time to get out.  But before she left for good, she knew that she had one more thing to accomplish in the relationship—revenge.

After a fight, the woman let her husband make all the usual promises to her, the ones that he never kept.  She let him think that everything was normal for a couple of days.  Finally, she treated him by making one of his favorite dishes—spicy chili.  However, instead of making a traditional chili with beef, she tried a different kind of meat—dog food!

That night, she let him eat away, saying that she wasn’t hungry due to stomach upset and being, as she put it, “dog tired.”

Of course, feeding dog food to a man isn’t necessarily dangerous.  What it ended up doing was making the husband a bit nauseous and giving him a case of the runs. The woman never told her now ex-husband that she had fed him dog food.  He was too distracted by the divorce papers to really pay attention to what he had had for dinner the night before, anyhow!  Treat your spouse nice, or end up eating like a dog!

Orange You Glad You Got Revenge?

Sometimes, revenge can be used for different purposes.  There is the tried and true revenge of a lover getting revenge against another, but sometimes you might also need to get revenge against a neighbor.  There are some great ways to get some good neighborly revenge, and this particular story comes from a neighbor who was a bit tired of oranges.

Essentially, the neighbor would throw half rotten oranges on the lawn of a woman.  (This was due to the fact that there were plenty of orange trees about and removing oranges was just part of routine maintenance, not that the neighbor had anything specific against the woman.)  The woman asked the neighbor to stop multiple times—cleaning up the extra oranges was annoying and time consuming, and not to mention the smell was bad.

Well, the neighbor persisted.  Finally, the woman got tired of the oranges and decided to get her revenge.  What she ended up doing was saving the shells from one dinner’s clam bake, and taking those shells out to the neighbor’s car.  She removed the hubcap from the wheel, put in all of the shells so that they wouldn’t rattle, and then replaced the hubcap.

Of course, the car soon began to stink.  When this happened the neighbor couldn’t figure out where the source of the stink was—and then proceeded to pay hundreds of dollars in an attempt to “fix” the problem.

Whether or not the neighbor ever figured out who the culprit was is anybody’s guess.  However, the woman does report that the neighbor no longer throws oranges into her yard.

Boat Revenge

This story starts out like many, but it does get points in the unique category due to the fact that it involves boats.  In this story, a husband and wife were together, when the husband started cheating.  He did so by getting on forums regarding boat canals—this was a serious interest of the husband, and he happened to meet a woman on the canal web board.  They started chatting and hit it off.

The wife had assumed that he was simply out at boating events when he was actually with the other woman.  Of course, eventually she found out, and eventually she got her revenge.

What she ended up doing was changing all of the information on the husband’s profile on the boat canal forum.  Then she changed his occupation to “having sex with (woman’s name)” and then she said that he was 75 and looking to have sex with as many women as possible before he died.  Then she put up a picture of him so that there could be no mistaking the identity of the man.

Of course, the husband’s lover found the fake profile before the husband did—and the wife had monitored the site all day.  The site had gotten plenty of replies.  Once the husband had come home, the wife deleted all of the incorrect information and replaced it again with the correct.

So the husband and the lover ended up breaking up—she with him due to the profile, and he with her due to his constant insistence that the fake profile never existed!

Control Your Revenge

While getting a bit of revenge on somebody might be necessary or therapeutic sometimes, we all have to understand how important it is to keep our angry urges in check.

Today’s story is out of a slightly darker side of revenge—that of true crime revenge.  While most people get their revenge by pulling stunts that might be funny or a little bit mean, sometimes revenge can get deadly.  Take the case of Coy Wayne Westbrook, who killed his estranged wife after he caught her having sex with a party guest.  Even that didn’t quench his thirst—he ended up killing four other people that night, as well.

It’s always important to remember that reaching out for help is never a bad option, should you find that you have an uncontrollable urge for revenge.  It’s not a bad idea to make some moves in order to help you get even with those who have wronged you, but if you are experiencing some overly violent desires, don’t forget that there are plenty of people out there who are looking to support you through your time of need.  Reach out to psychiatric hotlines if you need help—they are free and often offer solid advice for those needing it.

In short, revenge is usually something that we can look back and either smile at or be proud of, but there are some forms of revenge that end up taking the subject way, way too far.  Keep your revenge urges in check and you’re sure to live a long, happy, and fruitful life!

Proper Property Revenge

Sometimes, we can get the best revenge against those who have done us wrong by virtue of them not thinking a situation through.  While some people consider revenge to be petty when it is cultivated and sought after, who says that you should ignore the possibility of getting revenge when it is dumped directly into your lap?

This story of revenge comes from—what else—a marriage that was destroyed by cheating.  A man and a woman were married for 23 years, and the entire time, the man was quietly cheating on the woman.  During this time, the married couple also invested in a number of properties meant to secure their financial future.  Of course, the woman eventually found out about the man’s infidelities and the marriage went downhill.

When the assets were being divided, the man decided that he did not want any of the larger properties that he and the wife had purchased—thinking that the value of those homes was only that of the mortgage. After a little bit of research, the woman found out that this was not the case.  She allowed the husband to think that he was getting a better deal out of the divorce so that he didn’t catch on.

Later, she sold the properties and netted half a million.  While money can’t buy love, it can buy a bit of satisfaction after having been “taken for a ride” for over two decades’ worth of marriage!
